ŠKODA Rapid Is On A Grand Tour Of Andhra Pradesh

Škoda Rapid is on a grand tour from 9th June to 16th July 2012, the preferred car of Andhra Pradesh is travelling across the state, right from Srikakulam to Chittoor and then to Nizamabad.

The initiative by Parsvakumar Jhabakh’s Mahavir Auto (AP’s ŠKODA Dealer Principal,) will take the Rapid to non-dealership and select up-country towns. The idea is for providing hands-on-wheel experience, the potential customers can test drive and feel the premium drivability of the c-segment car right near their hometown.
Why is the float-tour creating such a buzz? Borrowing ŠKODA Auto India’s Sales & Marketing Director, Thomas Kuehl’s words, the car is an experience worth taking home. Going by the looks alone, one has to agree that the Škoda Rapid is indeed an art crafted by science, it is not just great to drive but delightful to look at as well.

The modern proven technology that purrs under the hood, ample space inside, and a powerful drive train combine to push Škoda Rapid up the preference chart for any family looking for truly comfortable car.

For the tech-conscious, here is a brief roundup. Škoda Rapid is available in both diesel and petrol versions, driven by 1598 cc in-line engines that put 77PS of power at your disposal. Two variants called Rapid Ambition and Rapid Elegance are available with regular as well as an advanced petrol engine. RapidActive is the third variant common to both the fuel options. The mileage presents an amount of cheer, the Škoda Rapid runs 20.5 km per liter of diesel, while the petro model gives 14.3 to 15 Kmpl.
