It is now possible to sell or buy or exchange a Maruti car without stepping out from the comfort of home or office. This is made possible by Maruti’s newly launched True Value website. Maruti True Value provides all car related services under one roof and ensures that seller gets the deal at right price. It also fulfils Maruti’s commitment for customer satisfaction by continuous association during the car ownership life cycle. Maruti being India’s number one organized pre-owned car brand has taken this intelligent step eyeing the boom in the used car business which is entirely due to the falling new car sales amid recession. In the current unstable situation, consumers prefer to invest on pre-owned cars rather on pricey new cars. This has shown many car manufacturers the path of used car biz. Moreover, this type of online service also helps to boost car sales in the depressed car industry. The True Value website is loaded with all the essential information that a potential buyer will look for. The website was also rated as the best informative site by the marketing guru Philip Kotler. Maruti is always ahead of other car manufacturers and this online service has proved it again. Labels: Maruti-Suzuki, Maruti-True-Value, Used-Car

The Indian used car market is in an exponentially growing stage and the credit for this goes to the increasing car prices. Following the footprints of Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Hyundai, Honda, Ford, and General Motors, Tata Motors also enters the used car business. Tata feels that the used car market is in developing stage dominated by an unorganized sector and thus introduces 'Tata Motors Assured' certified pre-owned car programme that will offer reliable and quality pre-owned cars. The new certified programme is commenced with a desire to provide one-stop solution to all its valued customers who are willing to exchange their cars for new Tata cars. All the used cars will then undergo stringent inspection by skilled and highly trained engineers to ensure quality and reliability of the cars. They will be available with one year/20000 km extended warranty along with three free services and will have less than 5 years old, non accidental and with not more than two owners history. But at present, Tata's pre-owned car programme is introduced on a pilot basis in 10 major Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, and Vapi. It will subsequently spread across the country in a phased manner. Labels: Car-prices, Tata-Motors, Used-Car

The global recession has created a turbulence in the Indian car market influencing the consumers' purchasing power. New car sales has been slashed drastically shifting the wind of growth towards used car market. Seeing the current turmoil in the car industry, many car manufacturers has postponed their new car launches. At this time of financial meltdown, consumers also feels it is better time to shop for used car rather than investing hefty amount on a new car purchase. So, the used car segment is now experiencing a good demand compare to the earlier time of stable market condition. For instance, Maruti True value has experienced a growth of nearly 30 percent, whereas the sales of the Maruti's new cars has dropped by around 10 percent. The new car market is further likely to face tough competition from the used car market as there is possibility of the car prices going high this January. Moreover, certified used cars from Company-owned used-car outlet are thriving enormously in the industry because they provide a wide range of services like car finance and insurance, fitment of car accessories, assistance with paperwork, and documentation under one roof.

When the car market is suffering from intense liquidity crunch, used car business is leading the game. The severe financial meltdown has proved to be a blessing in disguise for pre-owned and used car business. Today, you can get a number of used cars at attractive prices and people are taking advantage of these offers. Successful car models like the Hyundai Santro, Maruti Suzuki Alto, and Maruti Suzuki WagonR are gradually becoming the hottest pick up from the used car market. This is not only because of the low-cost availability of these cars but also for being the most reliable cars. You would be amazed to know though one or two years old, these car models deliver good performance and fuel efficiency if maintained well. So, if you are one among those who is shattered with financial downturn and is moving towards buying a used car, make sure that you choose a reliable seller or a car dealer.
