You all are aware of the all-new Honda City launched recently. But none of you would be aware that the launch was restricted to Delhi and Thailand. The great car with a unique design, advanced engine technology, brilliant styling, and innovative features has further made a move to Mumbai roads. So, now Mumbaikars can rejoice the pleasurable drive. Mumbai roads will soon be scorched with the new Honda City. The company strongly feels that the launch of this new cars in Mumbai will make India the largest market for Honda City. Since the first generation Honda City, the car has been a great success in Asian market. India now dominates the market and is expected to showcase a better hike in the years ahead. Tata Motors, a leading car manufacturer in India, launched the high-end versions of its Indigo CS series. Tata Indigo CS series launched in the first quarter of the year has received a grand response from customers across the country compelling the company to clock over the Indigo range and launch more siblings. The new variants launched are the petrol GLX model, diesel LX TDi, and diesel LX DiCOR. All the three versions are available with exciting features like a rear windscreen defogger, central locking, and rear and front power windows. The exterior of all the three variants is artistically crafted delivering a sporty look. Body coloured outer rear view mirror and rub-rails with chrome inserts add to the charming appeal of these new variants. The cabin is adorned with elegant and mind-blowing beige appeal coupled with premium seat fabric and sporty leather-wrapped steering wheel. In line with the old Indigo CS, the siblings also carry a good cabin space and a spacious boot. Available in an option of vibrant body colours, all the three Indigo CS variants are attractively priced.  After so many successful launches, BMW is now set to launch the new BMW 7 Series to India. The new 7 Series is expected to roll out by next year with a 750L petrol flagship. The first petrol version in 7 Series will be followed by two diesel versions with an engine capacity of 740L and 730L. The foremost aim of BMW is to grab the increasing sales of Mercedes-Benz S-Class, a car that is winning accolades in the premium luxury car segment. Not only Mercedes, the company also desires to take over the sales and success of Audi cars. Currently, both Mercedes and Audi are doing wonders in the premium luxury car segments. Get Set Go! Just wait on the end line, Jetta is ready to reach you. Volkswagen is all set to launch its new sedan VW Jetta in the month of August. Many are waiting for the launch of this car. For selling the car, the company is signing more contracts with car dealers and distributors. The car is likely to cost between Rs 13-16 lakh, this makes the Jetta much affordable than others in its class. Though the car display the Germanic looks, the styling is overall common. So many cars are rolling out that it is becoming even tougher and tedious to select the best car. Considering the growth of the Indian market, various car manufacturers including Volkswagen are racing to get the maximum share percent in the industry. Who is going to win the race? Join for a ride with Reva. Delhities will now have the opportunity to drive the wonderful, cute little Reva car. There are many people in India who wear a green conscience and attracted to the electric car model manufactured by Reva. Unfortunately, this model was launched only in Bangalore but now the cards of fortune have opened. Maini Revai has launched the advanced version of the Reva for Delhi roads.
Seven years ago when Reva was launched in Bangalore, the company was not sure of its performance and success. That time Reva was not able to make further launches because of the absence of subsidy but now Delhi is putting forward hands to support Reva in all aspects including subsidy, VAT exemption, refund of road tax, low registration charges and much more. This has eventually reduced the price tag of Reva from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 2.99 lakh in Delhi. Such a low price tag will definitely make a stronger move towards Revai. Students from the R.V. Engineering College, Bangalore has developed India’s first plug-in hybrid car in collaboration with Reva and National instrument and Bosch. Named as chimera, the car is capable of running on both electric energy and bio-diesel. Its come fitted with a 440cc diesel engine. The car is equipped with NI CompactDAQ-a USB data acquisition system, which will aid the driver to control the temperature, battery voltage, and rpm. Mitsubishi has become very active lately. After completing 10 years with just a couple of models, the company is suddenly flooding the market with its new cars. It has recently launched the premium sedan Cedia and SUV Pajero. It also plans to release Mitsubishi Evo and a MiVEC in the market. The sedan Lancer is already in the market to remind people of its presence.
But now the company has decided to launch a re-modeled Lancer by 2009. The car is said to be sportier and more striking than its predecessors. The new lancer will reach the Honda Civic proportions. It will be available in two types of engine puffing out 140 bhp. The interiors have been re-designed to feel completely new. The car will be priced in the range of Rs 11 lakh to Rs 13.5 lakh.
