Tata Nano is now going through a tough phase. It all started a week back. It was a sudden happening. Tata Nano’s started catching fire one after the other and the Nano customers were in panic. But the company was not, which helped it to deal with the issue wisely.

Tata in no time was able to identify the fault and was acting wisely. We here at Carazoo.com had covered it in detail in our blog "No Panic! Tata Nano will No More Catch Fire". It should be really appreciated that the company in no time was able to reach to the affected customers.

Nanos caught fire in Delhi, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad.

The company, understanding the fire is caused by faulty combination switches, repaired the faulty Nanos. Except for the Delhi customer, Tata returned the repaired Nanos to both the customers at Lucknow and Ahmedabad, Tata also assured the customers that the car will no more catch fire.

This was a news that gave great relief for the Nano customers. It not only comforted the current customers, but it also reduced the fright of those who have booked and is waiting for the delivery of the world’s cheapest car.

Tata didn’t put the responsibility on anyone else but courageously took the blame. And now Tata has taken the initiative of taking the car through a final check before it will be delivered to the awaiting customers. They will under a final check particularly for any faulty switches.

As a protective measure, Tata will perform a pre-emptive audit check on both delivered and yet-to-be delivered Nanos.

Nano booking is receiving a tremendous response since day one. And the small wonder has successfully been able to put wheels on thousands of dreams.

When the concept of Nano was introduced Ratan Tata’s vision was left to the drawing board. This legendary automotive man wanted to produce a car for the common man in India and provide them all a safer means of personal mobility.

Excitingly the dream of Ratan Tata turns into a reality when a cobbler Maruti Bhandare from Mumbai first walked away with the Nano booking. Bhandare earns Rs 7,000 per month and lives in a single room with his wife and children. He was over thrilled with the launch of the Nano and when the booking started he was able to make a complete cheque payment of Rs 1.4 Lakh for booking a sunshine yellow Nano.

A drive to the city of Bangalore also shows a similar excitement with many dreams turning into reality. In the city Raju who is a bus conductor was the first one to turn up at the Concorde showroom near Dairy Circle. For Raju buying a car was always a dream but Nano turned its long-cherished dream into a reality.

Apart from Bhandare and Raju there are many others whose dreams of buying a car have come to be true just with Ratan Tata’s vision turning into a reality.

New Tata Nano Cars In India

After hearing the launch delay of Tata Nano in 2008, people were disappointed and their level of spirit fell but now Nano has once again created a curiosity among the people with its final launch. The excitement is well seen with record number of bookings for the ultra cheap car.

The interesting part of the Nano is that in just a span of five days more than 51,000 forms for Nano has been sold only from the Tata dealers. This shows the Nano demand. But sadly the car manufacturer has limited the production to 50,000 cars in the initial years. This means many people would have to wait longer.

This figure is just from the dealers, forms are also available at other places like SBI, its subsidiaries and associates, other chosen financiers and outlets of Tata Finance, Westside, Croma, Titan and Tata Indicom have also registered more bookings.

Must say Nano is steeling the show and has spread its magic across the country. The low cost car is in great demand. The car manufacturer is going to make a good bag of money with Nano.

In order to make it more easy, it has tied–up with various banks for easy car loans at competitive price. Tata foreseeing the success of Nano has created necessary arrangements for its customers.
