To start with is the commodity price which has come down compared to the prices in December. With manufacturing of Xylo, an MPV the company also learned the art of saving money with out compromising on quality. And these reasons helped them to take the decision of bringing down the Scorpio prices.
The aforesaid reason could be the true but there are also other reasons that completely support the price slash. Like, with the launch of the new Mighty Muscular Scorpio, the company wants to finish the old stocks of Scorpio so that the new version will start its sale with full swing.

Mahindra Scorpio SUV and the Getaway pick-up range in
Peru, a country in the South American continent. Mahindra is aggressively promoting itself in the overseas market especially in the Latin American countries. This Indian manufacturer is thinking of quadrupling its exports and doubling its domestic market share in the next two years.
Mahindra has only recently seen market success in India that started with its Scorpio. Neglecting the domestic market for greener pastures overseas may not be a very wise move, but it definitely makes a statement to the world that India is stepping onto their shores and rising to become one of the world’s greatest economic power in a few years.
