Mitsubishi Enters Small Car Stable
India has become a symbol for small cars!
A number of small cars are in line to enter the Indian car market. First, Nano made an approach to roll out a small and cheap car on Indian roads. Following the trend, Hyundai Motor India, Honda Seil India, Maruti Suzuki, GM and now Mitsubishi also plans to introduce their small cars in the Indian market.
Doesn’t it look like that Indian car manufacturers are on their way to establish a small car stable?
Mitsubishi’s small car will be introduced in markets like India and China somewhere in 2010. This forthcoming global car will have a rear engine similar to the one in Nano. Though the position of the engine is same, the performance, economics and capacity vary. The new car will come with a 1.0 litre engine.

Hyundai Celebrates its 10th Anniversary
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), India’s largest car manufacturer, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in India. To make this day special for both the company as well its consumers, Hyundai is offering lucrative discounts and freebies for its entire range of cars available in India.
Yes, the company is rejoicing its own anniversary by gifting discounts to customers. The car buyers will get a free gold coin with the purchase of any Hyundai car except the i10 AT and Getz 1.5 CRDi. Those who purchase Hyundai Verna or Hyundai Getz will also get a free MP3 player. And those who go for Hyundai Santro will get free insurance along with the gold coin.
The company also gives an exchange offer for both HMIL and non HMIL cars. On exchange of non HMIL cars, the consumer will get an exchange of Rs 15,000 for Santro and i10, Rs 10,000 for Getz, Accent and Verna, and on exchange of HMIL cars, the consumers will get an additional of Rs 5000 over and above the actual exchange bonus.
