Ferrari Will Vrooom India In 2010
The ‘Magic India Discovery’ tour across the subcontinent with the specially-prepared Ferrari 612 Scagliettis was an event to remember. The ‘hot’ looking Ferrari cars will probably come to India by 2010. The company is preparing a sales and marketing network in the country with an eye towards a 2010 launch. At present, we see hardly any Ferraris on Indian roads. Most of these are purchased from Ferrari's dealership in Singapore. Tata Motors is closely related with Ferrari's parent company Fiat and may come into play for Ferrari’s India launch. Labels: car event, Ferrari, new car launch, Tata

Beware of Fake Cars
Police rounded up a gang of 15 people involved in making fake cars in Rome, Italy. They were involved in making fake blood red Ferrari cars with counterfeit parts and few original parts. They sold the cars at a fraction to the cost of the original. Change the name of the car and country and you can find that it is a very Indian-type crime news. Many garages are known to make cars with some fake and some original parts. They also make fake papers that look real. But if they are selling it at really low prices, one can be sure that it is a car without the manufacturers stamp. When we drive in cars, our complete safety depends on the manufacturing of the car. A glitch in the brakes or engine could prove disastrous to users. People looking for cheap used cars must make sure that the cars are certified by authorized dealers or workshops. Ferrari may come to India
All speed enthusiasts take note - Ferrari is eager to hit Indian roads. This announcement was made by the PRO office of Ferrari recently. But don’t jump from your seats, this could mean another 3-5 years. It is like a dream come true to finally see a Ferrari on Indian roads. This brand has been like a jewel in a crown for Italian sports cars enthusiasts and it is time that the car was brought to India, the land of the Maharajah’s. The Ferrari’s arrival is like an action moving waiting to happen, provided the bullock carts, old trucks, and pedestrians are cleared from the highways. It is not good to associate a fine machine like the Ferrari with accidents that are only too keen to happen. Labels: Ferrari, New Car, Sports car

New models from Fiat - a treat for die hard fans
All Fiat fans who were forced to opt for other cars have a reason to cheer. Fiat is back! This time with newer and even better models. We hear that the decade old Ranjangaon plant near Pune is finally humming with activity as the Italian car major is pushing through a major expansion programme. This will be a decisive comeback for Fiat. In the next 2 years, Fiat wants to roll out seven new cars from its global portfolio. New releases will include Fiat’s European best seller - the 2-door Cinquecento, the much read about sedan Linea and even the world famous Ferrari. The Fiat service network that used to be about a decade ago is now non-existent. The company will revamp its sales and service network entirely. This move should certainly get the crowd going. Reports suggest that the Pune plant is presently making two versions of the Palio and come February, a third version will be added. The new Palio will be powered by the highly acclaimed 1.3 Multijet engine which currently does duty in the award winning Maruti Swift DDiS. We expect a price tag of around Rs 4.5 lakh on the new model. Labels: Ferrari, Fiat, Italian car, New launch, Palio
