Shell Lubricants Sponsors The Mission Red Planet For The World Ducati Week

Shell Lubricants has joined hands with Ducati Corse to promote the World Ducati Week, a road trip, where Sundeep Gajjar, a motorcycle photo-journalist from India will ride from Dubai to Italy on a Ducati MultiStrada. Flagged off in Dubai on 19th May 2012, the bike will traverse through seven countries including Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovenia before it reaches ‘The World Ducati Week’ in Italy on 22nd June 2012. Shell Advance will be the main sponsor for the event.

The motorcycle oils with RCE technology, which gives out the responsiveness that one can hear. Shell Advance Ultra will prove to be the most reliable companion for the biker as the fully synthetic 10W 40 formulation will ensure an exciting and enjoyable ride combined with peak performance. The oil is hence recommended by Ducati for all the bikes in its line-up.

The technical association of Shell Lubricants and Ducati Corse, a subsidiary of Ducati, has been going strong over an 11 year period, producing six ‘World Superbike Rider’ titles and nine Manufacturers’ Titles. Working jointly towards product development and an indistinguishable fervour for technology, Shell joined MotoGP, the two-wheeled motor sport racing of Ducati in 2003 and bagged the first Riders’ World Championship in 2007. The victory was very significant as it was the first time that a non-Japanese manufacturer had ever achieved in 33 years.

The World Ducati Week is an extension of this most exciting campaign.
