Maruti Suzuki, which had earlier contemplated to launch the SX4 diesel sedan in India on the Feb 17th, has postponed the dates to Feb 22nd. The company has not offered any concrete reasons for this move. However, the launch venue has been zeroed in on Delhi.

Maruti Suzuki, has however, dispatched a few demo SX4 diesel cars to some of its dealers across teh country. As we had earlier reported, the diesel version of the SX4 is powered by Fiat’s 1.3-Liter multijet diesel engine coupled with the VGT ( Variable Geometry Turbocharger) enough to pump out 90 bhp.
