Yes, the luxury car maker is on a spree! It’s on a dealership opening spree. Believe it or not it,Mercedes-Benz has been successful in opening three dealerships in just eight hours!

Looks like the one-time number one luxury car company in India is trying its level best to affirm its supremacy at the luxury car segment. Ever since its home-town rivals BMW and Audi appeared on Indian car market scene, the three-pointed star stumbled down from its first place as a luxury car giant in India and gave way to BMW to shine.

With three new dealerships in India, Pune, Delhi and Mumbai, the luxury car major is geared up with a whole load of initiatives. The car maker will introduce a wide of exciting new models in 2010 in India. The three-pointed star will shine bright in the upcoming 2010 Auto Expo with its new line-up of products.

With these three new outlets, Mercedes-Benz now has close to 50 touch points all over India. This will help the three-pointed star’s appeal and availability as it gets ready to start flexing its muscles for the first time in it’s over a decade and a half existence in this country.

The company recently launched the advanced E-Class diesel BlueEFFICIENCY in India. It sells the C-Class, CL-Class, CLS-Class, E-Class, M-Class, S-Class, SL-Class and SLK-Class in India.
