2010 Bentley Mulsanne Unveiled

Bentley Motors has launched its Mulsanne at the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance in California, in the US. The Bentley Mulsanne is said to have drawn inspiration from the old, massive Bentley 8-litre, which debuted in 1930 and only 100 units of those cars was ever built.

Bentley’s all-new flagship grand tourer, the Mulsanne is crafted, styled and engineered at the luxury car maker’s headquarters in Crewe, England. The car will be made in a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility within the Crewe facility unit. The Mulsanne in a completely new avatar will go into production in 2010.

The name of this new car is derived from Bentley’s history pages. The Mulsanne Straight is the stretch of the Le Mans racecourse where cars reach their highest speeds and Bentley has five victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Bentley’s new flagship model brings back the Mulsanne name and will effectively replace the Bentley Arnage.

The 2010 Bentley Mulsanne will come with the iconic 6.75 L (6750 cc/411 in³) V8 engine, although in a reworked model and is rumoured to have a spectacular design line.

The car will be available in the showrooms of US and Europe by mid-2010. Moreover, this car is also expected to be rolled out in India probably by the new of next year.

Bentley recently launched the powerful supercar Continental Flying Spur Speed in India.

  1. A picture of the car would have been appreciated. It has to be a muscular car as it is based on the Bentley 8L. We are waiting for this car to come to India.

  2. I agree with Neeraj. Bentley cars are really wonderful. The Continental Flying Speed that Bentley launched last month is an amazing car with wonderful pick-up.Carazoo please us updated with more news on specifications and pricing of this car.

  3. Any motorist will know that, no matter how much money you pay for a car, how new or old it is, there will always be something that can go wrong. It doesn’t matter how rare the fault is, or how well the car runs most of the time, eventually something can go wrong – and when it does, you often find yourself having to hand over plenty of cash to get it repaired.
