Maruti Suzuki, the small car leader, certainly has a knack of doing things its own way. It has launched two exciting new models in Indian roads since January, the A-star and Ritz. Just about a couple of days back, Maruti Suzuki launched their revamped Grand Vitara boosted with that extra punch of power.Now that the company has finished its assignments in a hurry, they are settling down to retinker their cars, all existing models, with the new K-series engines. Maruti starts the operation under the hood of the Zen Estilo where the old engine would be replaced with the new 1.0 litre K-series engine.
The engine developed with innovative technologies that will produce around 67bhp as well as increase the fuel efficiency with improved performance. Currently Zen Estilo which is available in 1.1-litre in-line 4 cylinder engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The car may also get some minor makeovers but the details are not confirmed. The Maruti Zen Estilo is a blend of Suzuki MR Wagon (not sold in India) and Wagon R in terms of style and engine respectively.
Hope the new version of Estilo would bring some good charm to its sales. The launch date is not yet known but this little wonder from Maruti Suzuki’s stable will be definitely seen in all new avatar.

To be frank am not very impressed with Estilo. The previous model Zen was a an excellent car with a very cute look. The Estilo is a blend of Wagin R and the front of the car looks like Matiz. Though Maruti cars are reliable and trust worthy they lack in their design.Other than Swift and SX4 i feel all other model carry an outdated design. How ever they try to modify the the Estilo it will still carry an boring design.
