Mahindra and Mahindra is in full swing to toughen its position in the competitive Indian car market. The car manufacturer is always seen with some new launches or strategies for its customers. This time the muscular car brand is in news for introducing pick-up version of the well accepted model Bolero from the SUV segment.
Initially the new Bolero pick-up is launched only in Pune but very soon this new model will make its occurrence across the country pretty soon.
This butch pick-up truck is christened as Bolero MaxiTruck; it will be a replacement of the MaXX MaxiTruck which is currently seen in the market. The old model will be phased out in a month as soon as the Bolero MaxiTruck hits the sales charts. The new version will be seen with the price tag of Rs 3.52 Lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).
Bolero MaxiTruck is powered by a 61 bhp 2.5-litre engine with micro hybrid technology which results in higher fuel efficiency. Produced at the Kandivli plant, the model comes with the capacity of 1-tonne payload. Besides this the Mahindra and Mahindra is also planning to introduce the CNG version of the same model.
After Pune, the next designation for the Bolero MaxiTruck includes Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and West Bengal. The new model will be available across the country in 350 sales outlets.
