The new Audi Q5 SUV will soon join its older brother Audi Q7 in the Indian market. The new car launch is expected to happen by June 4th this year.
The sturdy look of an SUV and comfort of a sedan is what makes the Q5 special. It is a sort of replica of the Q7 in looks but the Audi Q5. Built on the Audi Multi Longitudinal Platform, this second child in the Audi Q series bases itself on the Audi A4 sedan and uses the chassis of the A5 model.
The Audi Q5 promises lots of wonders behind the steering wheel, along with the standard equipments; it is equipped with Drive Select option, which helps the driver in selecting the throttle mapping, steering and suspension settings, and transmission shifts according to driver’s choice. The superb audio system from Bang & Olufsen is sure to keep ones ear engaged for a long time. Audi’s Multi-Media Interface (MMI) is an added feature - it is a user-friendly interface that helps in controlling most of the Audi Q5’s operations. Keyless entry, push-button start, and reverse camera are among some key features which the Q5 will offer.
The Four Wheel Drive Q5 gives Indians two engine options to choose from - a 3-litre V6 common-rail diesel producing 240 bhp and a 2-litre TFSi petrol engine delivering 211 bhp. There’s ample space inside the cozy and extravagant interior of the Audi Q5 and exterior is stylish and curvy. The new SUV will be priced at around Rs 45 Lakh but with this amount of luxury, style, comfort, and performance, the amount just might be worth it. Audi expects the Q5 to ride on the success of the Audi Q7 which has been extremely popular in the Indian car market.

I have heard a lot about this compact SUV. As it is from the renowned brand Audi, there is no question about its performance or style.But compared to other SUVs it is slightly expensive.
Audi Q5 looks exactly like Q7. I dont see anything new with this compact SUV. Besides it is an SUV that i cannot afford it now.
