The Indian football captain and the star of Sikhim Bhaichung Bhutia received the Scorpio Getaway Lifestyle – a customized concept of the Scorpio Getaway built especially for the star.
The all-new Scorpio Getaway Lifestyle is a perfect offroad vehicle which carries stylish, sporty looks and go anywhere capability. Based on the platform of Scorpio Getaway, this stunning model gives an option of both two-wheel and four-wheel drive. It is meant for those who seek thrill and adventure in a car.
It gets a high degree of customization that imparts a distinctive character to the car. The striking features that make this model exclusive are motorized cargo bay cover and sunroof, a rear camera with sensors, custom-built front guard in stainless steel with auxiliary lamps, modified bonnet with nose treatment, twin scoops on bonnet, custom-built front bumper corners, styled heel arches with Allen head screws, custom-made inset side scoops with mesh, side guards in stainless steel, “C” pillar bezel with mesh & inset turn signal lamp, window line blackening, body shell in custom paint, alloy wheels, custom painted brake caliper, body modifications to house the Scorpio w tail lamps, S.S. exhaust tail end in twin pipe, custom built triple pipe rear roll case in stainless steel with auxiliary lamps, rear spoiler with built in brake lamp, custom built tail gate bezel.

Other attractive interior features of the customized car include leather upholstery, Mp3 music system with speakers, custom floor carpeting & floor mats, and the Ipod docking station.

The Scorpio Getaway is a luxury pick up truck. But the new customisation options is mind blowing! The two scoop hood gives it a macho look too. This pick up looks more appealing than the dainty sedans.
I saw the customized version of Scorpio Getaway given to the football champion. It looks great. This a a good way of promoting the car brand. Recently i think a cricket player too was presented with a Mahindra customized car.
I agree with Mr Malhotra regarding the car promotion. In most of the events the star of the sports are gifted with some expensive cars. It is a nice gesture but also if this gifting was used for some other social cause it would have been better.
I have been out of the loop with football too much time. I loved it as a young child, growing up. Being from Texas, it turned out always the Cowboys. Back then, the heroes were Roger Staubach and Tom Landry. Eventually, after moving to California, I found myself at times rooting for John Brodie of the 49ers, nevertheless it was always Cowboys when the two came head-to-head. Now, I’m retired. The stress of deadlines, personal tasks and endless errands have reduced. And I wax nostalgically for the gridiron as well as the pleasure of the competition. Yes, I’ll be watching much more football. You can bet on it.
I keep listening to the news speak about getting free online grant applications so I have been looking around for the best site to get one.:)
