Mahindra’s popular and successful SUV ‘Scorpio’ is all set to get yet another makeover. The company is planning to give the car an image change so that it could be positioned as a thoroughbred sports utility vehicle taking away the MUV tag connected to it. With the makeover, the Scorpio will obtain more rugged look.
Mahindra wants to give back the car its SUV identity as it already has a powerful candidate in the MUV segment, the Xylo. The Xylo has received an overwhelming from the buyers and is running fast in lane of sales graph.
The company is persistently upgrading the Scorpio. Recently, a new version of the car has been introduced named as Mighty Muscular Scorpio with new front grille, headlights, fog lamps, bumpers, and embossed side cladding along with digital immobiliser.
Now with new attires, we will get to see another face of the Scorpio. Wonder what it would be called as? Macho Scorpio?
But Mahindra Scorpio is already a SUV not a MUV. Then why the car manufacturer is trying to shift its identity. Yes Xylo is a popular car from Mahindra in the MUV segment but Scorpio since its introduction have rejoiced its success under the SUV segment only.
Well I think it is better for Mahindra to project Scorpio as an Exclusive Sports Utility Vehicle. I would prefer the Scorpio's Image as the ultimate Sports Utility Vehicle which is Strong and rugged. The Mighty Muscular scorpio i checked on http://www.mahindrascorpio.com is a also good. But If it can get more features of SUV, it'll become all the more good.
It was very recently Mahindra rolled out all new Scorpio for 2009 with the tag name mighty muscular. And now again the company is planning a make over. Since its first launch Scorpio has gone so many changes, lets see what difference does it make this time.
I am surprised that Mahindra Scorpio has not highlighted the MICRO Hybrid Technology in Scorpio on a large scale. I think it is an excellent initiative from Mahindra to incorporate the Micro Hybrid Technology in Scorpio which helps in saving fuel, reducing pollution and saving money on fuel. I always loved Scorpio but when I came to know that Scorpio comes with Micro Hybrid Technology, I like it even more.
