
The MercedesTrophy is a special series of golf tournaments organized with a aim to strenghten the symbiotic relationship between the car manufacturers and the car owners. The brand also aims at bringing customers and friends closer through various activities held at the tournaments.
Every year about 540 MercedesTrophy tournaments are played worldwide. All the national winners of the tournament will further participate in the world finals. This year the ninth final edition of the MercedesTrophy in India was held at the Sahara Aamby Valley in Lonavala. The mega-event marked a tee-off by Dr. Wilfried Aulbur, CEO & Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz India. At the scintillating event the national winners of the tournament carried away their winning trophies.

Around 650 golfers from across the country participated in the MercedesTrophy 2009 held in four regional finals at Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and Chandigarh. The world final will be held at Stuttgart, Germany and will mark an annual congregation of the finest-proven players and all Mercedes-Benz car lovers. The winning players who will now have a unique chance to participate at the world finals are Mr. Shiv Puri, Mr. Sadeev Sandhu, and Mr. Sanjay Setia.
The event was highlighted by a fashion show ‘Exquisit’ that displayed Gayatri Khanna’s creation inspired from style, sophistication, and elegance of Merc cars. The unique and exquisite creations by Gayatri Khanna were a tribute to Mercedes-Benz. Every single act at the event reflects the true attributes of the Mercedes-Benz.











This is really a good way of promoting brand. Many car manufacturers organize such events including the BMW. Other car manufacturers like Audi, Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, and Honda are involved with motorsports and rallies to further strengthen their presence in the country and bring their valued customers closer to them by all possible means.
