India’s leading SUVs the Tata Sumo and the Safari is gearing up to flavour the American roads. Eyeing the potential of the Latin America SUV market, the company has planned to introduce the cars in the continent.
It has a healthy growth rate in the auto segment and has similar norms with regards to safety, emission, and quality. So it won’t be difficult for the company to introduce modified SUVs that may suit the American conditions.
Tata will take the cars to America with its existing partner Fiat. It will manufacture and market SUVs in Latin America in collaboration with Fiat. It is also rumoured that the SUVs may manufactured at Fiat’s existing facilities in Cordoba, Argentina. If it happens then the cost of exporting the cars will not add extra pennies into the price tag.
Tata is exploring growth opportunities in various international markets for its commercial and passenger vehicles. Tata is also evaluating possibilities to introduce the Nano to the American markets.
Sadly, Tata currently is witnessing a severe meltdown due to its quarterly loss. But we feel that the launch of the Nano will definitely revive the company’s business and will bring a better future market for it.










It is an honor for India that our products are greatly appreciated overseas and they are in demand too. Tata has already proved it worth and made India proud by acquiring the two premium models.But it is surprising to know that the Tata Sumo which is discontinued in India is entering the US market.
