Sturdy and Powerful Xenon XT Stamps on Indian Road

New Tata Xenon XT Cars In India

Tata Xenon XT stamps on the Indian road with a complete blend of looks and performance. The new car by Tata is an all new take in the SUV segment with its stylish structure, refined interiors, excellent off-road capabilities, and impressive loading capacity.

In a world where Safaris and Scorpios are ruling the SUV market it’s hard to predict whether such a lifestyle pick up will proliferate. But the manufacturer addresses impressive features and technologies of the Xenon that may take over the leading SUVs of the country.

The new Xenon is truly a treat for eyes. The style is distinctive, aggressive, and striking and is dominated by the trademark ‘Tata’ grille. Complementing the frontal fascia of the car is the large wraparound clear lens headlamps and flared fenders. The side indicators on the outside rear view mirror and the roof rails add more style to the car’s exterior. But we don’t think that this is enough to win the hearts of off-road enthusiast. It may be an eye feast for those who adore sturdiness, aggressiveness, and exclusivity in a car.

The interior of the car is highlighted with power steering, power windows, electrically adjustable side rear view mirrors, central locking, AC, and height adjustable seat belts.

The beastly 2.2 VTT DICOR diesel engine churns out an awesome power of 138 bhp. Adding to the performance is the electrical shift-on-the-fly mechanism and a limited slip differential similar to that in the Tata Safari. Electrical shift-on-the-fly enables the car to shift from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive while it is moving and the limited slip differential limits the difference of speed and torque between the wheels. Off-road capabilities of the car are further improved by a rugged ladder frame structure, a matching suspension, and alloy wheels. What’s most exciting is the massive load capacity of the car that can amazingly carry a payload capacity of 1,000 kg.

The car can be fondly customized with a load of accessories like bed-liners, fog lamps, canopy, boot lid, and rollover bars offered by the company. It is perfectly priced within the range of Rs 7.62 Lakh to Rs 8.58 Lakh.

Tata is confident that the new Xenon XT will win the hearts of SUV and off-road enthusiasts. Let’s see how well this new car is able to flourish in the Indian car market.

  1. Is the new Tata Xenon XT a SUV? What do you actaully mean by a lifestyle pick up. Whatsoever it is it is good to know that cars like this are also entering the Indian car market to compete with other cars that are already running on Indian roads.

  2. The pick up truck does look kool. And i also read somewhere that this is the sixth product rolled out by Tata's this year.Great going even at the time of economic pressure.

  3. I dont feel that the 'stylish' features will enhance this pick-up truck any further. It is not an vehicle that will be used for a pleasure trip. It is truck used to carry loads and the performane and the loading capacity plays the vital role rather than style.
