But I dont understand one thing that why all Skoda cars receive appreciation and acclamation in their later years. Even talking about the Fabia the name actually disappeared from the market soon after its launch. But then all of sudden there are news and informations all around on the net that the Fabia has won various prestigious awards.
Skoda Octavia has proved its worth even in India.It is a great car with performance and style.I m planning to own one and now after learning its success even globally, i have decided to go for it.
I had the misfortune of purchasing a Skoda product (Laura L&K) in Sept, 2007 for an amount of approx. Rs.17 lacs. Ever since, I have been facing continuous trouble with the car – with Skoda showing complete lack of customer service – good at lip service though. Name the trouble, its there – engine gasket blows off in 1st week of purchase, clutch coupler switch defective, AC compressor conked off, music player stopped working, wheels jammed while driving, brakes caught fire, continuous noise from dashboard etc. Biggest mistake I have made in my life – never ever again. Please research thoroughly before you buy a Skoda product.
