The first Indian grown car Hyundai i20 running on foreign roads is speculated to make its debut with new style at the upcoming Geneva auto show on March 3. The five-door Hyundai i20 car has recently been launched in the Indian car industry along with the offshore car markets like United Kingdom, Germany, Greece, Austria, Croatia, Spain, Belgium, Holland, and Hungary.

The new version of this premium hatchback is expected to get more dashing style with subtle changes at rear. It will get the same powertrain having a 1.2-litre engine mated with 5 speed manual transmission.

Interestingly, the all-new Hyundai i20 will also be developed at Hyundai’s manufacturing plant in India which is likely to manufacture 300,000 cars annually. According to rumours from the automotive sphere, it is known that the new car will be launched only in the European market and there is no hint of its coming to the Indian market.

  1. i20 with a two door is a cool concept.Hope they launch the same concept in India too. Am sure it will be great click among the youngsters. Though we have Fiat 500, a two door lifestyle car. It is again an amazing car but the price is too very high.No body will spend this much for a hatchback.Hope they try to re-consider the price.

  2. An i20 – topless variant (convertible) would be a great idea as well. There are very Indian cars (so far) which could qualify for being a convertible. i20 certainly gets that status simply because of its very stylish look in the front which gracefully curves at the rear. Some modifications however, would be necessitated at the rear !- By Vikas Valsang
