With Audi and BMW planning a slew of new car launches, Porsche also moves in line with them. All the car manufacturers are heading for generation change and facelifts to give a completely new picture to the Indian car market.
There are speculations that many of the Porsche cars have been found undergoing testing and benchmarking activities. The Porsche Panamera, a new Cayenne, new generation 911 and the new Boxster Speedster are some of the proposed cars set to be rolled out from Porsche's stable.
The new diesel version of Cayenne will be propelled by a turbo-charged engine supplied by Audi. The launch of the diesel version is credited to the increasing demand of more fuel-efficient cars in the auto market. The next generation 911 would feature the flat-six engine to boost power and performance. Following the launches, the company would also launch the Boxster Speedster with a dome behind headrest, lower windshield, and modified canvas hood. The car is known to be powered by improved engine technology that would deliver 303 bhp.
Porsche eyes the new car launches with heightened hopes and aspirations. These new players are expected to bring new excitement in the Indian car market.
