It seems there is no end to Nano troubles. Since the time Tata Motors has showcased the world’s cheapest car in the Auto Show, the project is facing some or the other hurdle on its way to Indian roads.
After facing continuous obstacles on its path including the long series of violence at Singur plant, Tata Motors was happy when the company shifted the Nano project to Sanand in Gujarat.
But Nano’s misfortune has followed Tata from West Bengal to Gujarat. Even here the company is facing a tough time to prove the ownership of the allotted land. The Gujarat High Court has asked the state government to produce documents of land acquisition that is allotted to Tata for the Nano project.
Sadly, the state government did not have any documents that proved that the land was owned by Tata. The court also ordered Tata to give compensation to the farmers of the Khoda village adequately according to the market price of the land.
With this, it has now become difficult to say, how many obstacles Nano still has to overcome.

Yes, even I feel so that there is no end to Nano troubles. So, did Tata Motors agreed to pay the compensation to the farmers? Or the world's cheapest car is still in courts?
This means that the launch will further be delayed. After delaying it from the birthday of Ratan Tata in December, it was announced to be launched in mid March. Will it launch in March or still further delays are expected?
A tough time for Nano.. true, i think it has followed from the east to the. Land issues which made TATA to quit from WB and land in Gujarat, where everyone was quite optimistic.Hope Tatas can over come all these hurdles. Good luck TATA.
