Green Line is the low-emission version of the new Superb manufactured for the international market. But till now there is no news of the low-emission version of the Superb to make its debut in India.
Though not in India, GreenLine Superb is a great saloon and a unique concept with a 105bhp, 1.9L TDI PD engine. Amazingly, the fuel efficiency of the car is said to be nearly about 23kmpl. Improved aerodynamics, low-resistance tyres, leather trimmed steering wheel, and lower suspension add more worth to this environment-conscious car.
To make the car eco-friendly, Skoda has utilized various measures to reduce the car weight which has a direct impact on the amount of fuel-consumption. Removal of spare wheel, gear alteration, and remapping of the engine has greatly helped the company to achieve low-car weight and make its Superb more superb and scintillating.
