With so many new car launches in the country, you can also experience the joy of one more new car by Nissan.
The Nissan plans to introduce a new car for India in association with Renault. This car is expected to roll out from the Chennai plant where the joint venture has invested a sum of Rs 40 billion. Yes, this huge amount is invested to cater to the increasing demand of small cars.
The Nissan has no plans to keep the booking orders in piles and so it has invested to have a total production capacity of 400,000 units. Such a high production capacity will surely meet the requirements of car consumers. The company will also export the cars to global car markets like Europe. The commercial production of the new car is expected to start by 2010.
Though the launch is far away, the excitement is near!

Is this also in line with Tata Nano and electric Reva? Or in the price segment of Hyundai i20 and Maruti Suzuki A-Star?
Small car from Nissan. I think lot of car manufacturers are set to launch small cars. I think that in a country like India. small cars are the best as they can be easily driven in city roads. And the small car population is increasing rapidly in India
I think many car manufacturers are launching new cars in India. India is gaining a lot of recognition worldwide. When exactly would it be launched in the Indian car market.
Another next generation car in the making. The joint venture company Renault Nissan Automotive India's plan to roll out small cars from its plant in Oragadam in Chennai is really amazing. Though the production starts by 2010 will have to wait till 2012, to hold the steering!!
