New Spark on Its Way

Spark is one of the fastest running compact cars on Indian roads. With such high success of the Spark, the General Motors plans to introduce a new version of its small car.

It’s good to know that the company is planning to introduce the 800cc version of the Spark which is at present plying on Indian roads with the 995cc motor. You would be even more surprised to know that the revamped car will cost less than the current price tag, nearly about Rs 20,000 less.

Though the car will have no frills and modifications in the car interiors but will definitely deliver better performance and fuel-efficiency. Even the quality of plastic used to build the body structure will be improved.

The heavy discount in the price tag of Spark has pushed the car sales and the new engine Spark is further expected to increase the sales at a higher pace.

  1. New Spark.. that to 20 K less. Its unbelievable. Might be the introductory offer? This small car, which has truly spread spark among the younger generation, will surely attain high sales with the new 800cc engine. Hope GM will put some new feature in the new Spark!!

  2. I used to own the compact car, Matiz. 4 years ago. I sold it. I was in love with the compact features and the exterior especially. A handy car my Matiz. Oh.. ho bad I used to miss my car. Now after GM took Daewoo, they've recreated Matiz and christened it "Spark". The hot and sexy car in town, a formidable contender in the small car segment. After the huge success of the 995cc, they are coming out with the enhanced version the 800cc. Surely I'm going to make one my own, in the loving memory of my Matiz.
