Hyundai i10 More in Numbers

Driven by the success of Hyundai i10, the company decided to up the production by adding a third shift in the plant situated in Chennai.

Since the first launch of this car in 2007, the car has shown a high growth scale even during the negative market scenario. The decision is aimed at making India a global manufacturing hub for small cars.

Beginning with Hyundai i10, the company wants to design and produce many more small and compact cars in India for the Indian market.

The introduction of new shift is targeted to meet the increasing domestic as well as export demand of the i10. To add more numbers globally, the company also plans to increase the number of dealers in the country and hold a higher market share.

Is this the beginning of a new mission in India? Or just a hype in the plant capacity?

  1. Wow! This means more number of people can now enjoy a dearer ride in the wonderful small car, Hyundai i10. I have recently bought this car and would like to share some of my personal experience with you. The day I bought this car I was not satisfied with the performance but today after a period of 6 months, I just love driving the car. Even if I have to go to the market at a distance of 1 km, I take my car keys and just drive. Even the car interior is spacious and has all the advanced safety features.

  2. I have heard many people saying that Hyundai Santro is a great car. I have also heard that it has got the top ranking in the compact car segment. But I personally don’t find it so fascinating. It may be a good car and many may like it but the most negative aspect of the car is that it is less spacious. For someone like me who has got a height of 6 feet 2 inch, it’s really difficult to set in the car. Comparatively, Hyundai i10 seems to be much spacious and I really enjoy the ease and comfort of driving.

  3. I feel Hyundai i10 is the best hatchbacks in India. The best in market and for a country like India. It is an easy car to be driven as it is smaller in size. I was planning to buy i10 but heard that i20 is launching this year. so waiting for its launch…wats the price of the i20??

  4. If youre still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then youll know which is right for you.
