The caption ‘buy a home to get a car’ sounds so simple. But is it that simple.
Along with the car market, the entire economy is dwindling with high inflation and financial crisis.
The middle class section of the society has headed towards a tough, challenging, and strange crossroads, a point where they have to cut down their basic necessity of life. Buying a home has become a challenge and even buying a car. Both are a necessity today.
But, interestingly, today real estate owners are offering special schemes and discounts to lure customers. They are not able to reduce or cut down the actual cost because of increasing inflation but they are definitely offering incentives in terms of interiors and even cars.
Yes, some of the real estate owners are offering cars to all their customers on booking a flat. This means, to buy a car of worth Rs 5 lakh or even Rs 10 lakh, you have to buy a house worth Rs 25 or 40 lakh.
Car manufacturers are simply trying to club promotional activities to push car sales. But is this the right strategy for advertising or branding?

I think that this is a perfect strategy. Home is something everyone needs. One can move on well in life without a car but not without a home. It is one of the basic necessities of living. In such cases people will definitely buy a house from a builder who gifts a car. This way even car manufacturers will get an opportunity for branding.
Alluring offer... but in this time of financial crisis, who'll go behind this. Isn't it a business strategy to push the car sales?? And on top who'll take care of the fuel budget. Can a middle class man afford it?
I had to take a car. I approached the bank for loan, but in vain. I was left with no other choice, but to approach a pre owned car dealer, the price tags were unbelievable. Well maintained cars were exhibited there. Now I own a honda city and i get a lot more from it. the same happiness i could get from a fresh car.
