Robotized Car Parking! Does this sounds strange? Well folks, this is nothing strange, it’s just an advancement of technology and innovation in the country.
Gradually, the Indian car industry is pacing with innovative technological advancements. The advancement in the industry is not restricted to the entry and exit of cars but much beyond that. Innovations are also noticed in the field of car accessories, car designing and even car parking.
Speculations are in the air that Mumbai is soon going to become robotized with a fully robotized car parking. The prime objective of the robotized parking is to reduce the parking hassles.
With a robotized parking, a driver just needs to drive to the check in point and after that everything becomes automatic. A rotating carousel takes place of human. The carousel hands over a parking ticket to the driver. After that a robot comes into picture. Robot with sensors identifies the dimensions and size of the car and then determines the perfect parking place for that particular car.
Even during exit, the driver just needs to place the parking ticket on the sensor and the rest is done by the rotating carousel.
There is news that such robotized car parking work has been started on Bhulabhai Desai Road in posh South Mumbai. This work is undertaken by a joint venture between Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Akruti City

Rather than something strange, this seems to be an exciting and thrilling experience. I would love to see such kind of car parking with robots, sensors and carousels. Great! That’s actually one of the most advancing technologies in the Indian car industry.
The technology is growing really fast. In our country we find it so difficult to park our cars where some time the drivers go about hitting other cars. one such thing happened in one of the local theaters. a group of guys in Accent where trying to exit and there was some problem and the other car was not parked properly. they just hit a Maruti Alto and rushed away from there…even the security staff could not stop them. so definitely such problems will atleast minimize
Parking the car with the help of Robot?? Sounds interesting!!Finding an appropriate place for parking has been the greatest hassle in Indian metros. With the increase in vehicle population, its hard to find a proper parking place. The whole concept of Robo Car Parking is too wonderful, and hope this will surely decrease the troubles while parking and hope it will be safe too.
Even I am waiting for the way when the robotized car parking will come to a reality. I think South Mumbai is a good place to start such an innovation.
Strange but true, technologies are advancing in automobiles so are the peripherals. Car parking has been a strenuous task and now it is being made easier by the robotic parking. This method is good but it's surely going to be an expensive business. So may be the classy people will never have to see their vehicles being hauled.
