One car three names sound strange!
That’s nothing strange but a global game that the global car Maruti Suzuki A-Star is playing.
The first time in the history of Indian automobiles, a car made in India, will be known by three different names in the global car market.
In India, the car will be christened as A-Star. Suzuki Motor Corporation will sell the same car in Europe by the name of Alto. That’s how Maruti and Suzuki have planned the launch of this global car. But what about the third badge? From where does that come?
It’s not a shock but definitely a surprise to know that for the same car Maruti has signed a manufacturing contract with Nissan Motors which will be sold by Nissan in the international market by the name of Pixo.
So, three different badges donned on one single car!
Labels: Alto, Maruti-Suzuki, Maruti-Suzuki-A-Star, Nissan-Motors

I am not bothered by what names the global car, Maruti A-Star, will be known. I just want to have one parked in my garage. Eagerly waiting for the launch of this new car.
Hey kinni. How do you do? Are you not happy to hear three different names of your favourite car. I thought that people love to know everything about what they love. Even I am desperately waiting for the launch of Maruti Suzuki A-Star but I am really happy to know the three badges donned on this global car. That’s exciting, one car three names and millions appreciation.
Pretty interesting. One same car will come in three names. Really different from Maruti. Personaly i feel Maruti cars are the best. From the time of my first car till now its always been Maruti. The first one was Maruti 800 then i shifted to Zen and now i own a Swift. and planning to buy in two years SX4. Cheers Maruti good work keep it up. wish to see more and more cars from Maruti.
This year i am seeing a lot of launches from every segments in the Indian car market. I think BMW has already launched three cars this year if i am not wrong. and now again one more car from BMW next year. this shows that how much interest BMW has towards Indian market. Ya it is going to be a good competition them.
