Maruti Suzuki has high plans to increase the car sales and meet the target of 1 million car sales by 2010-2011.
Keeping in mind, the sales target, the company is planning to roll out cars that will solely suit the Indian conditions. It is trying to make India-specific modifications in its future cars.
To make this act possible, Maruti Suzuki is working to make Maruti, a hub of small cars and Suzuki will play the engineering role to produce the India-specific models. This is still a long way to go.
Meanwhile the company is hitting the market with a truly Indian car, Maruti Suzuki ‘A Star’ that incorporates traditional design and motif. It is also planning to increase the number of engineers and designers in its R&D centres so that more number of cars can be produced to meet the sales target.

Maruti is taking good lessons to improve its brand even more in the country. I like Maruti cars. they are easy and can be maintained with less cost. Eagerly waiting for Maruti's Air car. is it launching next year?? can u plz let me know about this car..
Hi Jacky, how are you? I think you are talking about the Maruti A Star, not the Maruti's air car. Regarding A Star, just count weeks on your fingertips because it is soon going to launch in the festive season of Diwali. And, the air car is not from Maruti but from Tata but that's still a long way to go.
I have been looking looking around for this kind of info. Will you publish some more in future? I’ll be grateful if you will.
My sis told me about your website and how great it is. She’s proper, Im really impressed with the writing and slick design. It appears to me you’re simply scratching the surface by way of what you possibly can accomplish, however you’re off to an ideal begin!
