Global Car with an Indian Touch

Peep in the global car and get amazed!

The global car, Maruti Suzuki A-Star, is completely indianized.

If you open the door of any Indian car, interiors are almost the same with the only difference in the degree of style and fashion. But the global A-Star is loaded with surprises and amusements.

Maruti Suzuki A-Star is the first concept car completely designed by Indians. It is said that the theme for the car interiors was aviation and the keyword was floating. Keeping in mind the theme and the keyword, car interior designer Rajesh Kumar Gogu, gave the perfect look, appeal and theme to this concept car.

Entire instrumental panel is designed with a great deal of perfection including a touch screen LCD to display navigation, audio video controls, and AC controls.

The inspiring ambience is adorned with a pink accent in the sporty seat, instrumentation illumination and door trims. The designer has also used paisley motifs in the seats, motifs that are used in traditional Indian sarees.

Apart from these, Gogu has also challenged its car design with exhilarating inspiration from objects and themes native to Indian roots. These include bangles, ear-rings, mehandi patterns, rangoli and pooja paraphernalia.

With so many attractive features and detail designing of the car interiors, we guess each one of us would be awaiting the launch of ‘A’ class Maruti A-Star. Don’t you?

Hats off to Maruti! Maruti cars have always topped the car industry in all their segments. You say that Maruti A-Star is a truly Indian car. It’s good to learn about the interiors, but is the car engine also indianized? Or is it imported?

This kind of global car will definitely increase the worth and demand of Indian cars in the international market. I am happy to know that Indians are continuously on a learning curve and grasping innovative technology faster than any other country.
