After a series of continuous speculations regarding the launch of Mitsubishi Outlander, the company finally decides to introduce its Outlander in October.
The new SUV will compete with the highly successful SUVs like Honda CR-V and Chevrolet Captiva. Outlander will roll out in the Indian market with 5 seating capacity, spilt tail-gate, Rockford music system, stability control package, and variety of attractive features.
Outlander will come with a petrol version having an engine capacity of 2.4L churning out 170 bhp. An optional transmission system including a six-speed manual gearbox and an automatic with paddle shifts makes this SUV an even more competitive.
Priced between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, Mitsubishi Outlander will prove to be a sensation in the SUV segment.
Is the car launched with an aim to compete Honda CR-V and Chevrolet Captiva? Or it’s just a coincidence?

OUTLANDER sounds quite impressive. i think it is a bit costly than CR-V. I own a CRV and now i saw the features of this Outlander. and the car also is very attractive. Basically i go for looks and this car has impressed me a lot. was waiting for the launch and finaly its coming on October was planning to go for Endeavour but i think can wait for some more time and buy this car. Can u please suggest me any other SUV apart from Outlander??
