After so many successful launches, BMW is now set to launch the new BMW 7 Series to India.
The new 7 Series is expected to roll out by next year with a 750L petrol flagship. The first petrol version in 7 Series will be followed by two diesel versions with an engine capacity of 740L and 730L.
The foremost aim of BMW is to grab the increasing sales of Mercedes-Benz S-Class, a car that is winning accolades in the premium luxury car segment. Not only Mercedes, the company also desires to take over the sales and success of Audi cars.
Currently, both Mercedes and Audi are doing wonders in the premium luxury car segments. BMW with its updated 3 Series and new 7 Series is expected to beat their markets.
A big challenge for BMW!
Will the aim of BMW actually fulfill? Will BMW 7 Series win the race against Mercedes Benz S-Class? I don’t think so.
BMW entered market only 2 years back and today it has become so popular in India. I feel that it all takes time but with the BMW cars that are coming out have great and outstanding looks.it might be a challenge for BMW to compete with Mercedes Benz S-Class.
I am not being prejudice against other cars or Merc that is closest to Beemer, though Merc obviously has better luxury on the interior which Beemers are catching up too, however when it comes to performance, innovative as well as inventive engine Merc has more to catch up. It is well known that Beemer tends to edge over the other on performance engine, safety features and thus exudes lots of confidence on the road. You have to test drive one not just sit in a luxury. Another important thing is Beemer always comes with new innovative engine, an improvement from past on all models and series and not new improved from past engines! Looks for Beemer it takes long to appreciate and it last longer, that's my opinion.
