A year back, there were rumours about the fall of Ambassador but is this true?
Has the old Amby really made it’s exist from the country?
The old Ambassador has undergone various modifications and alterations to comeback on Indian roads with tough competition. Though the car has not succeeded in competing with high-end luxury cars and other techno dazzlers, it still has a prominent place in the history of Indian car industry.
Infact, in the international market, Amby is back to be the king.
The yesteryear Indian king is now ruling the streets of London. Tobia Moss in London has proved that the Indian-built Hindustan Ambassador can be a beautiful place to reside if adorned with creativity.
Most passionately embellished the car interior with red velvet upholstery, red and white embroidery on door panels, roof mirrors, ethnic music, silkscreen prints embroidered on seat back, and an illuminated Ganesha idol on the dash.
It’s hard to believe that an old cart can be a marvel on wheels with creative minds thrown in.

Heard a lot that Ambassador is going to be back and check out the pics of new Amby they look too seducing and very attractive.Look like one of the luxury cars and u will not even believe that it is an Ambassador.
The old Ambassador was always the king. It is one of the first cars on Indian roads with maximum comfort and space. Even though many new cars have come up in the market, the roomy interiors of the Amby can never be replaced.
I don’t agree with you. I do agree that one individual in London must have given a fresh, new and attractive look to the old Indian Amby but that does not change the faith of Hindustan Ambassador. Just imagine, if you own an Ambassador, will you decorate your car interiors with embroidered fabrics, satin materials and silk lace. Will you ever give such a look to your car? No…am I right?
True yaar, I really can’t imagine my Ambassador or rather any other car adorned with embroidered fabric. I think people in London loves that but not we. The fact remains that people always like something that others have. Embroidery is a part of India’s rich culture and people across the world are always keen to have one unique embroidered piece with them. Similarly, we Indians try to catch hold of the technologies and innovations taking place across the globe.
