Will Mahindra & Mahindra launch Ingenio?

Long back Mahindra & Mahindra notified that it would be rolling out the Mahindra Ingenio in 2006 and there were lots of reports and information related to it but sadly it remained as news because the car is not yet launched.

This model hails from the MUV (Multi-utility vehicle) class like the Toyota Innova, Qualis, the Tata Sumo Grande and the Chevrolet Tavera. Now we heard that the model is undergoing several tests and is expected on Indian roads very soon. But how long this launch will take is still a mystery.

The same is repeated with Toyota’s Fortuner which was supposed be launched but is still on hold. Hope the car manufacturer prepare well for the launch before announcing and later disappearing with it.

  1. Ingenio…Hmmm.. Do i remember??Mahindra's MUV, which was to be launched way back in 2006, is still under construction. Mahindra's who are still on the R&D of this MUV declared that it'll be rolling out soon.. hope this MUV will bring a new competitor to this segment of industry..

  2. I think all auto giants are now concentrating on small cars than big cars. General Motors had plans to bring Hummer and Cadillac to India, and M&M, who were to launch their Ingenio, way back in 2006,still has kept it in shadows. No body knows where this has gone. May be the current market trends are preventing them from going 'big'!!!

  4. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
