Tata Motors is in news again, this time they are likely to sell Jeep Wrangler SUVs in India and other Asian markets as an alliance with Chrysler.
The company is already in deal with Chrysler for developing a battery-powered version of the Tata mini-truck Ace for distribution in the western markets. Sixty percent of the bus and the truck markets are taken over by the Tata brand. The Chrysler expects the Indian brand to sell its Wrangler jeeps in Indian and specifically speaking to the Indian army.
The Chrysler is aiming at expanding its brand to Asian countries like other European and US auto manufacturers. The venture with Tata for Wrangler sale in India and other Asian countries witness the first step towards expansion.
The sales of SUVs in US have dropped by 15% as the Americans are shifted towards small fuel efficient cars due to hike in fuel price. This sudden change of the consumers demand has driven the auto manufacturers to restructure their distribution.
It’s is really difficult to predict that this redistribution will help the US auto manufacture as inflation has occurred globally.

Once it was Alexander, who wanted to conquer the world. Now its Tata, the emperor in automobile industry, who is spreading its reign internationally. After acquiring Jaguar and LandRover, now its alliance with Chrysler is to launch Wrangler- Jeep in Asian market. Let this new venture will take Tata to more heights.
Tata always comes out with different set of things. It’s really strange!! And they do wonders with their unique things in the market. I feel that SUV’s are not that popular when compared to other segment cars. There is handful of SUV’s but who knows maybe Tata can provide much cheaper SUV’s when compared to other car manufacturers. So need to wait and watch out whether it will succeed or not?

2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara
6-month value drop: $2,726
Est. private party value: $12,573
Mileage: 23 mpg Hwy, 18 mpg City
When it comes to vehicles with four wheels and a roof, Suzuki suffers from an unfortunate lack of brand recognition. When you say "Suzuki," what comes to mind for most consumers, is a motorcycle.
But for used car buyers, that means low prices for the company's cars and SUVs, which have become quite competitive.
In this case, the handsome Grand Vitara, surprisingly rich in amenities and featuring a powerful V6 engine, looks like a steal at for something as new as a 2007 model.
