Tata Motors is already an active member in the electric car race. The company is working on the production of electric vehicles that are soon to hit the Indian car market.
A recent speculation states that the Tata is now planning to introduce E-Nano, yes the electric version of the ultra-cheap car, the Nano. Don’t you think this is something exciting…the actual car model is still not out and there are rumours about the versions and variants?
Though Nano is still under the veil, Tata announces the launch of diesel Nano and E-Nano. The electric version is expected to roll out seven months after the launch of Nano. The car is to be built in cooperation with the Miljoebil Grenland, Norwegian electric car specialist firm.
Nothing can be commented on the Nano and its version until the car makes its first appearance in the market.

Hey, that's great. It’s good to know that Tata is really working at a very fast pace. Nano is still not out and the company is promising the launch of its versions. I think Nano will bring a revolution in the Indian car market with all its version, Nano, diesel Nano, and electric Nano. I am sure very soon I'll hear that Tata is also planning to launch air version of Nano, air-Nano. Hats off to Tata Motors!
Again an electric car! Recently I remember when there was a severe shortage of diesel in the country especially in metro cities like Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi. During those cities, the only electric car in India, Reva Maini faced a tough time. With such a severe shortage of power, I don’t understand why Tata is coming out with an electric version; rather the company should roll out a hybrid of Nano.
It is nice to know that Tata is adding more options to Nano. People will get to choose what they like with out putting burden to their pockets.E-Nano is a great concept and i am sure many people would opt for it.A totally 'green step' taken by Tata's.
Tata Nano was mainly designed with the thought of providing comfort of a car to those who can't afford highly priced cars. Even in the small price bracket, now people will have better and wider options to choose from.
