Indian auto market – One among the Top 15 list

Here is the reason to feel proud as India overtook countries like the Italy, China, Brazil and Singapore and is ranked as one of the top global auto manufacturer among the top 15 car manufacturers.

This rating was done by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in its 2008 International Yearbook of Industrial Statistics. World’s top three car manufacturers are Japan, US, and Germany. Indian bagged 12th position overall where as a developing country it came in fourth position after the Mexico, South Korea and Iran.

The Indian auto industry is growing at a very fast rate. It has proved well with its products and very soon will be seen on the top five lists. Foreign auto manufacturer also see a great potential for their products in India and are strengthening their position and spreading their glory by not only rolling out new models but also setting up their plants in India.

India is developing rapidly.its so proud to know that it is one among the top 15 car manufacturers. May be one day we might catch the first place and it is not too far. But all we need is put our hard efforts and in no time even we Indians can be one among the developed countries.

India proves itself again. East or West India s the Best. May it be in scientific developments and research, The booming auto industry in India has been listed among top 15 auto manufacturers. Very soon It'll be seen at the top position. Three cheers to auto manufacturers..Good Luck India.

This proves that India is doing its hard work to progress. Soon India will be called as one of the top car manufacturers. Today we can see ample number of cars in India. So it it prospers this way its not much time for India to be called as the developed country.

Argentum Motors Ties Up with Dassault Systems for Designing Components for Global OEMs

Argentum Motors has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dassault Systems. The company intends to design components for global automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Argentum and Dassault intend to set up a centre of excellence to provide software solutions to auto companies. Argentum had acquired the production facility of Daewoo Motors.

Argentum Motors to Expand Capacity to Produce 0.4 Million Small Cars


Argentum Motors is set to expand its capacity for small cars to 0.4 million per annum. Argentum Motors would also start manufacturing 1-2 litre engines to cater to the demand for small cars. The company is creating flexibility at plant to suit a larger range of vehicles. Existing facility, which can produce engines in the size of 1.3-1.7 litre, is being expanded for 1-2 litre. The company was also setting up a new paint shop and an assembly line which would have a capacity of 0.25 million-0.3 million cars per annum at an investment of INR 5,000 million.

Argentum Motors to Infuse $126 Million in Indian Daewoo Facility

Argentum Motors will infuse INR 5 billion ( $126.8 million) to modernise the facility over the next 18 months as it gears up to host global commercial vehicle maker Daimler for the latter's proposed Low Cost Vehicle (LCV) roll out.

Argentum Motors to manufacture commercial vehicles and cars

New Delhi: Former president of Hyundai Motors India, BVR Subbu, who is now director of Argentum Motors said that the revival of the Surajpur plant was almost complete and the company is also looking at contract and joint manufacturing of commercial vehicles and cars.

The Surajpur facility would soon begin producing components by the start of the next financial year.
Argentum Motors,a company floated by Mr.B.V.R Subbu, Ajay Singh of Spice Jet and India Online Network's Ashish Deora took possession of the Daewoo motor's plant at Surajpur (Haryana). Originally set up by Daewoo to produce engines, gear boxes and body parts, the 210 acre facility is the third largest automobile manufacturing factory in India.
