Leading car manufacturers from across the world will drive to India to meet at the SIAM annual convention in September. These manufacturers will together decide the future and faith of the global car industry.
SIAM is currently gearing up the Indian car industry and is planning to make India a premier destination for car manufacturing. Driven by the future plans, the association has invited leaders of global car industry including the Mercedes-Benz’s COO Rainer Schmueckle and General Motor’s President and COO Fritz Henderson.
The convention is mainly held to discuss various issues and concerns regarding the Indian car industry. The government plans to solve the existing and upcoming issues with great deal of perfection and association with leading auto players.
The convention is commenced on September 4, 2008 but the question remains, will this meeting reap benefits for Indian car industry? Will Indian car market be successful in reaching the top?

I think that Indian car market will one day reach to the top position. In the earlier years we could only find a few cars in the roads. but today so many cars, models and makes are found. and many of the car makers are making our country as a hub for exports. This really shows how fast the car industry is developing. This meeting might help out the car market to boom in the global market
This is a good step taken by the car manufacturers. i think this meeting will help the Indian car market to come out with much more cool and sexy cars that will attract the buyers. Already Nano has gained so much popularity even before it is launched. Can anyone imagine getting a car for one lakh. This is what we Indians are we do something unique. SO this will definitely help the car market to go even more further.
My dear friedn Pari, sorry to oppose you but this step is not taken by the car manufacturers but SIAM, the heart and soul of the Indian car industry. SIAM is inviting leaders of global car market to enhance the possibilities and opportunities in the Indian car market. But, Pari you are obviously right in saying that we Indians always do something unique and will definitely go up in the coming years.
