Fabia is now ‘technically’ upgraded

Fabia one of the most sizzling hot hatchbacks from Skoda is in news again. There was a report stating that the company is calling back its most ‘cool looking car’. But the missing link is that to increase the fuel efficiency and performance of the car, the petrol version of Fabia was upgraded.
Due to incompatible fuel quality in India, Skoda India has made minor alteration in the software to achieve better fuel economy and driving performance. The company also assured that for the existing customers, the company would rectify the problem free of cost and all they have to contribute is about 20-30 minutes at the dealerships.

I own Petrol version of Fabia. Was not aware of this news. Nice to hear that Skoda is recalling us to rectify and provide the service at free of cost. Where some of the car manufacturers would charge extra but Skoda is too good. Now after getting it altered I think my car will be much more fuel efficient. If I would not have read this then would have missed such a good chance to save more fuel.
