BMW, the Munich-based auto company is planning to strengthen its presence in the fastest expanding market, India. The company has high hopes from the optimistic Indian car market and desires to be an integral part of the India’s success story.
The BMW has invested an amount of $30 million at its Chennai plant, exclusively to fulfill the domestic demands with highest production and quality standards.
There are many ups and downs in the market with varying growth speed. But still, the BMW is confident that in the long run, India will have a better and brighter market with higher business potential. The unstable growth speed does not affect the desire and ambition of the company because the company has successful entrepreneurs and corporate executives as their prestigious customers. These customers are already aware of the commercial risks in every business.
The BMW also wishes to strengthen its existing car portfolio in the country. After the launch of 3, 5, 6 and 7 series, the company is now eager to launch BMW 1 series along with the introduction of the car ‘Mini’.
With changing demands and requirements, the company is also wish to mould the base of its existence in the country and develop innovative technologies to fulfill the expectations of Indian customer.

With Inflation, rise in fuel and steel prices in India. BMW is taking a wild step to make a strong market in India. Within a span of two years it has grown tremendously and Today the BMW cars have become popular in India. I feel that it is giving a good competition to the Mercedes, Volkswagen and Audi.I think it will make its name just like how Mercedes has won the Indian markets.
