Beat the Fuel Price with an Electric Car

The best way to beat the rising costs of conventional fuel is to replace your petrol/diesel car with an electric car.

Reading the headlines about the soaring fuel prices, Chetan kumar Maini must have given a self-satisfied smile. Chetan kumar Maini is the one who introduced the first plug-in electric car, Reva Maini, to India.
The tremendous increase in prices has established a superior place for Reva in the industry. The car runs well on road and with a charging battery. It is a small and appealing car, good enough and comfortable for seating two people.

The car was first launched in Bangalore and thereafter it rolled out to Delhi roads. The car manufacturers had faced a challenging period when the Government of Delhi asked Maini to introduce his electric car to New Delhi.

The rising cost had shaken the State government and they offered all financial and moral support required for the launch of Reva in Delhi.

This was a good initiative taken by the State Government to beat the fuel prices and reduce emissions. Now, it’s time for us to take an initiative to conserve the natural resource, reduce pollution and win the battle.

I think beating the fuel prices with an electric car like Reva is the best way to promote health concerns and reduce pollution. One should not forget that nothing is more important than “life”. If increasing pollution is endangering people’s life, then it’s the right time to go electric.

I recently read in a newspaper that Delhi Government is the first one to extend any sort of subsidy to an automotive owner. Not only financial, the launch of Reva Maini in Delhi was supported in all possible ways. This extend of support is highly appreciable. I heartily put my hats off to such a government which has taken time for its own people and made an initiative to solve health issues caused by increasing pollution.

2. Yes there should be some alternative sources other than these fuels. As everyone is seeing from past few years that the fuel prices are rising rapidly. The only way would be to introduce cars that would beat such fuel guzzling cars. I had read that even one more auto maker is also planning to launch electric car in India and to do all this definitely one needs the support from the government and however the Indian government has provided a good support to Reva manufacturer. Hope to see more electric cars in India soon.

Yes i agree completely with you. The increasing fuel prices has made the buyers to think 100 times whether to buy the cars or not. So if there are some alternatives definitely it will help the buyers in a way to get rid of the fuel prices. Government should definitely support the car makers this in turn will help our nation to keep away the cars that pollute the environment.
