Maruti Suzuki has ranked 4th in the new list of the ‘World’s Most Popular Automobile Companies’. It’s probably the first Indian car manufacturer to come within the top 5 in the list. Maruti went past its Japanese collaborator Suzuki Motors that had managed the 4th spot in the previous list. This news comes in on a year when Maruti is celebrating its silver jubilee in India.
Maruti has always held on to the top position in the list of popular Indian car manufacturers. Over the years, it has catered to the masses in a way that no other car manufacturer in the world has. The new ranking on the world list is well deserved by Maruti.

Maruti Suzuki is 4th most reputed company and Tata Motors follows close by at the 6th position. This goes to show that Indian car market has grown in strength in the last decade. Once India achieve the 1st position, the foreign companies will no longer look at India as a poor country
