Indian are right in being price sensitive and fuel conscious. They new car sales will always drive up sales for a short time but it is the sustained interest of customers in a car model that makes its successful. I think that Swift,Alto and DZire fall in that category of cars. They are trump cards.
The fuel-efficient cars are always in demand and now with the fuel prices going high people started demanding for it.One of the main reason why small car sales are high is because it is more fuel efficient than the bigger cars.
With the fuel prices going high, it has become highly important to have car that is fuel efficient. It is becoming difficult for the people to afford and then maintain it.Though it may not affect the high-society people but the middle class definitly are affected.
