Car manufacturers are going electric now. With rise in fuel price, a race of creating eco-friendly has engulfed the car industry. Electric cars from Tata’s factory are on the way to hit Indian roads. It is believed that these cars will run at an average cost of Rs. 0.40 per kilometer. Unbelievable!
One of them is the Tara Titu which will run on 4 batteries of 12 V. It will be a 2 seater car with a maximum speed of 55 kmph. The price of this car is announced to be Rs 99,000. Wow! Cheaper than the Nano.
The other one is the Tata Shuttle, a 14 seater car, will be produced for commercial use with a maximum speed of 30 kmph and at a price of Rs. 5, 00,000 only.
