Skoda Roomster Breaks the Mould
If you’re open to new things, then go for the new model of Skoda. The car will be the first ever new crossover model in India and is aptly named as ‘Skoda Roomster’.
Effectively two cars in one, the Roomster hits the spot, both as a multi-passenger vehicle (MPV) and a hatchback. The new Skoda Roomster is a brilliant car to drive and fun too. You must have heard of the old saying - “Looks can be deceiving,” and in this case, it’s certainly true. Although, it has a tallboy stance, the Roomster’s stability on the road is unbelievable.
It has all the features that a buyer will admire. Moreover, the car is practical, cheap and fun to own. If you are looking for of an amazingly versatile and effective interior load space with excellent safety credentials, then the Skoda Roomster is the perfect car.
This cute little car comes in three variant levels which are simply called Roomster 1, 2 and 3. There is a pleasant variety of engine power available. Petrol engines available with the car are of 1.2-litre, 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre capacities. A larger 1.9-litre diesel engine has a nice output of 105 bhp. All variants are available with a five speed manual transmission. The estimated starting price of the Roomster in India is expected to be Rs 9.5 Lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi).

Hey you have given me all the details but i want to know when is it coming in India. With skoda badge on its grille, the car could cost a bomb.
However, it will be fun to see some more crossovers on Indian roads. It will make Indian roads more lively. I am seriously getting bored of Maruti models.
Roomster really looks an attractive buy. But cars with the tall boy look have been rarely accepted by the masses. The only hit was the tall boy Wagon R from Maruti Suzuki and even this did not cross the five feet height.
If Roomster is able to become popular it will be breaking a myth.
I had hear that Roomster was coming to India, but never bothered about about it. But after reading this blog, i feel Roomster will be apt for my family. I was thinking about buying a Scorpio, but now i think i will wait for Roomster. It is two cars in One make us imagine a large interior space. I am waiting for is launch.
