Shopper’s Stop for cars

Are you one of those tired executives who have no time to run from showroom to showroom to shop for a car? and still not getting a car of your choice. Here is a solution to this problem. A one-stop-shop for all cars ranging from M800 to Ferrari will be available under one roof. The multi-brand mall is likely to come up in Bangalore near the new Bengaluru International Airport. It will be spread over 50-acres of land and the car mall will cater to all the needs of a car consumer.

The mall is the brainchild of leading auto dealers of Bangalore who thought of a complete customer experience from window shopping to research and purchase. It will be on the lines of Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance retail chain for two wheelers.

Still in conceptual stage, the process on the mall will start soon after the state government sanctions land for the project. The partners in the project are planning to bring up the mall in a couple of years.

It is great news that a mall exclusively for cars is all set to come in India. I thought such concepts existed only in developed countries or the petrol rich gulf countries. I am glad that Bangalore is heralding this concept in India. All the best to the dealer who are looking for government approval.

I thing this is the best news for car buyers in the past few years. I think that this will reduce the buying period for car. Companies can literally claim that cars are flying off the shelf. India really needs such concepts to put it on the global map of car companies. I think the government should sanction as soon as possible and open such a mall at the earliest.
