Nano to get Headlights from Japan

Japan has already changed the looks of Indian cars. Ever since Suzuki Motors introduced the M800, then the world cheapest car, the country has never looked back. New and better models have kept hitting the market regularly. Some of the costliest cars manufacturers like Mercedes, BMW and AUDI have their production facilities and huge marketing network here.

Now another Japanese company is set to change the way headlamps look in India. Koito and other auto parts manufacturers are employing a completely new strategy to create headlamps for Tata and Nissan small cars. The company is targeting the ultra-low cost car manufacturer where there will be huge demand for low cost (yet powerful) headlamps. With such headlamps, Nano will look cuter.

  1. Japan has contributed a lot to India in terms of transportation. I believe that the M800 was the best thing that happened to India after the railways in terms of mobility. It is now the turns of Koito to tweak things and make it look just a little better.

  2. It is nice to know that Nano is in demand not only among the buyers but also among the component manufacturers. but can any body tell when exactly we get to see Nano on the roads?

  3. With the headlamps of Koito, the nano is to look cute. Accessories manufacturer Kioto Japan, who will produce headlamps for Nano, and other small cars in a low cost but "powerful" manner!! Nano the cutie is surely to sparkle in the night!!!
