IT crazy and car freak people will love this news. Microsoft and Hyundai have recently entered in to agreement to develop the next generation in-car entertainment system.
The in-car entertainment will be based on Microsoft auto software platform. It will be similar to mini portable computers and allows consumers to enjoy music in different digital formats. It will also allow the consumers to upgrade new function and innovate it according to their taste.

So Microsoft has also arrived on cars! Is there going to any sector which is not covered by MS. Cars had so far remained a domain for hardcore engineering and acoustical experts. I believe once Microsoft based products enters the fray all other music system will also be forced to adopt it.
Microsoft the name earlier associated with desktops and palmtops will be associated with dashboards also..The MUSIC and INFORMATION system... Its gonna be an era of "Software Cars".
